First Event for Boise
Cascade Office Products Racing at Belle Isle, Detroit.

Glenn survived the street course at Belle Isle in his first event with the
Barber Dodge Pro Series moving from 22nd to 16th place.
Oakland, CA (June 19th, 2000) - JAG Promotions announced today that Boise Cascade Office Products Barber Dodge Race car driven by Jeff Glenn posted a solid result in their first event at Belle Isle, Detroit with the CART FedEx Championship.
The schedule will also include, Burke Lakefront Airport at Cleveland, OH July 2, Mid – Ohio Sports Car Course at Lexington, OH August 13th, Road America at Elkhart Lake, WI August 20th, and Laguna Seca at Monterey, CA September 10th.
Jeff Glenn (1997 ACRL champion) drove the Barber Dodge car for the second time ever this weekend. “My main goal became survival, and getting a result. With the limited time that I have in these cars, and the course being lined with concrete walls the best card to play is a conservative one this weekend.” Glenn said. “I just stayed out of trouble, and concentrated on learning the car and the course. It is always satisfying to walk away from a temporary street circuit with the car in one piece.”
The Boise Cascade hospitality event in conjunction with the race went according to plan, and was deemed a success by Boise Promotion Specialist Tammy Pruitt.
A few of the guests from Boise Cascade Office Products were able to present the Barber Dodge awards on the podium at the end of the event.
The Barber Dodge Pro Series has provided a level playing field where talent plays the decisive role in the outcome of the events for over 12 years. The Barber Dodge Pro Series runs as supporting events at some of the most prestigious race weekends in North America, and is televised on ESPN2, ESPN International, SKY TV and Eurosport in Europe.
